Mellow Root Herbals

All of the herbal products I make are handcrafted with local (where possible), organic ingredients in micro batches. Products include compostable honey lipbalms, salves + balms, bodyfrostings(creams), herbal perfumes, hydrosols, body oils, serums, herbal teas, tinctures, elderberry gummies and oxymels/shrubs and more. My business is a reflection of the gratitude I have for healing plants. I make herbal products that can be used daily to balance and nourish our bodies. Formulas vary with the season depending on which plants are available and which ones I am intuitively called to use. I believe the plants that grow around us are here as a gift and we should learn from them and incorporate them into our daily lives.

What started out as a creative hobby grew into a professional career designing and weaving unique textiles and teaching at national fiber conferences. My designs are original, one of a kind or limited edition pieces, woven with a wide variety of fine yarns and luxurious fibers chosen for their tactile and visual qualities. Color combinations are complex yet produce subtle gradations and iridescent nuance. Scarves are lightweight and soft with a fluid drape that are simultaneously elegant and casual, eye-catching yet subtle and stylishly sophisticated, functional accessories for women and men.

Lauren Daye Pottery

I specialize in crafting unique pottery designed with experience and appreciation in mind. My goal with every piece is to help cultivate a pleasant experience through considering weight, shape and hand-feel. My work is largely inspired by ancient pottery as well as traditional and contemporary forms and processes. I am constantly challenging myself to go out of my comfort zone and incorporate new hand building and wheel throwing techniques.

Luminaery

It is my mission to share the beauty of the little things that often go unnoticed. The lost feather, hidden wildflower, or imperfect leaf soon become the stars of my pieces. I press each treasure I find, then incorporate them into my prints, suspending these unassuming beauties in time. Every image you see is a negative impression of a real plant, printed through an old photography printing process called cyanotype or "sun printing". The medium offers many different ways of experiencing the incredible process, whether through my journals, cotton shirts, or embroidery hoops.

Nimdiki

My name is Pasang Sherpa. I am a jewelry designer based in Vermont. I mostly design beaded jewelry. I am originally from Nepal, but I have been living in Vermont for the last 8 years. I design beaded jewelry and my mother who is still in Kathmandu, Nepal runs a small workshop where she makes those jewelries with a group for underprivileged women. Everything I earn by selling the jewelry goes back to helping those women and employing as many women as we can. Many of these women would not be able to find comparable jobs or be employed at all if it wasn’t for this opportunity. The money they earn provides them with financial independence and allows them to make important decisions for their households without having to rely on their partners.

Malas & Mandalas

Malas & Mandalas is a jewelry and wellness brand rooted in bringing mindfulness and intentionality to the fore front of everyday life. I also find inspiration by spending time in nature and connecting to the power of the natural word. I hope that my jewelry helps people connect deeper to themselves and take time the to be present so that they can enjoy the now. I make an assortment of bracelets that use gemstone and lava beads. The lava stones are porous so you can put essential oils on them, and then the heat of your skin diffuses the oil throughout the day as you wear the bracelet and you have the benefits of aromatherapy on the go. I also make mala bead necklaces which are necklaces that have 108 beads and a tassel or stone and can be used to count mantras during meditation. I hand knot the malas between each bead and make the tassels by hand out of embroidery thread.  I offer a variety of home/wellness products such as
candles and bath salts made with dried flowers and essential oils, and essential oil roller blends.
Each piece of jewelry comes with information about the stones used.

It's Elemental

~Art is to living, as breathing is to Life~ We all possess the ability to imagine, and create that which did not exist before. I love music, poetry, philosophy, science, the cosmos... It is this natural world that uniquely inspires my own creations of note cards, fine art prints, journals, mixed media art dolls, and other elemental things. I hope they inspire others, as well.

Mannybeads

Mannybeads jewelry is a bit unrefined, beautifuly irregular and suggestive of the spiritual. Some of the elements I am most drawn to are organic and unrefined stones, ancient pieces, and ethnic additions. Turquoise is a particular favorite of mine and it is featured in many of my designs. The Cairn continues to show up in much of my work. Cairns have been used across many cultures for centuries as path markers, symbols and landmarks. My Cairns are inspired by such stacks and I like to think that they can serve as reminders for the wearer of the power and guidance from within and without that is ever available to us. I've been a stone stacker for years, but typically in the garden, at the beach, on a trail, in the woods...My habit of stone stacking finally found it's way to my work table.

ReMaker Furniture

ReMaker Furniture Giving new life to time tested furniture. Fight disposable culture! Styles and finishes change over time, but there is no substitution for quality. New furniture is either made from composite materials (like MDF) that will swell with water contact and has a limited lifespan (I think of it as future garbage), and/or it is high-quality and high-priced and highly pollutant (sourcing trees, cutting, milling, transporting, etc). ReMaker Furniture finds potential in old furniture with good bones. Whether from our shop or your collection ReMaker Furniture will give your home one of a kind quality and style. Danielle Pecor Ar

I was born and raised in Vermont. Most of my work is based in my love of nature and organic shapes. I believe that lines, colors and composition can make a piece feel and look alive. I am fascinated with all the small details that can make a picture, even the smallest detail can complete a picture. I create original drawings, custom drawn pendants, cards, pet portraits and stickers. I love to teach art and see how anyone can grow and enjoy art no matter their background. I truly believe that everyone can learn how to draw and express themselves whether they think they can or not.

Jen Berger

I started this project in 2016 as a way to learn about women who have inspired me. I came across a coloring book "Coloring Outside of the Kitchen: A Woman's Place is Inside This Coloring Book", created by Casey Landau, which provided me with the illustrations for the first few images. I kept going from there, making portraits of women I connected with. For their biographies, I wanted to learn things about them that they may have said about themselves. The bios I chose give us a sense of who the artist was in their own identities, not the ones that have been created about them. I told myself when I completed ten images, I would publish them as a collection.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Appear Works

What does “keepsake" mean in a world where almost any object is available at any time? To Marlena, a “keepsake” is a gift, such as a holiday ornament, that is personalized by hand, just for you and your loved one or friend. It’s something custom and original that doesn’t belong to just anyone. It’s something that is an absolute original, with the mark of a trained, human hand. A keepsake is a connection, and a gift that lasts year over year. Hang a memory from your tree this year with an ornament personalized by Marlena.

Marilyn Barry Jewelry Design

I love making jewelry and have been doing so for about the last 25 years. There's something so appealing to me about working with a tangible substance like metal. Just starting with a piece of flat silver and wire, I can saw, shape, solder, hammer and polish these materials into a piece of jewelry to be worn and touched. With learning and building on new techniques I am able to create a multi-faceted piece of jewelry. My jewelry making started with making beaded creations. Wanting to expand my collections, I learned how to work with metal, mainly copper at first, learning how to saw and shape metal into pieces of unique jewelry. Expanding my skills further, I learned how to set stones, solder and finish a ring or other piece of jewelry. My forte is creating one-of-a-kind pieces. I am always drawing on some inspiration and interests to thoughtfully design and craft something new. My hope is to delight the wearer and expose a piece of my heart and soul.
